Social media, and visual social media in particular, are powerful platforms for the sharing of all sorts of messaging around health issues, including the use of cigarettes and e-cigarettes and vaping of various forms. Working with an interdisciplinary team across three faculties at Curtin University and now with external partners in other universities and health bodies, we have been exploring the way that vaping in particular has been visualised, messaged, shared and (re)shaped online.
