I’m not a huge Lost fan – I got lost in Season 2.

I wonder if Seven took into account that the State of Origin is on at the same time on Nine. I know only QLD and NSW viewers would be interested in watching the Origin and more importantly I think they’d rather watch State of Origin than Lost.

They could have taken a leaf out of the ABC’s book with Doctor Who and released it live online Monday for anyone keen, then followed that up with a free-to-air showing in its usual spot. That way they can catch all those people who will go to illegal sources to get hold of it, participate in the global buzz and show ads, without eating into the audience of people who will watch it Wednesday.

I wonder what the figures from the Doctor Who staggered release were?
