What's interesting is that even though Obama Girl is a satire, the actress who plays Obama Girl has now endorsed...Obama. I do worry about that cynicism, but I'm not sure these videos are any more or less cynical than Dana Carvey mocking George H. W. Bush on Saturday Night Live in the 1980s and '90s. The Marylin comparison is interesting, too, but it's a little flawed in that JFK more or less openly embraced the connection with Marylin while Obama, Hill, and Rudy have distanced themselves from their various "crushes." Sadly, I’m not sure it’s possible for the US election system to get any more cynical.
